"Go placidly amongst the noise and haste and remember what peace there maybe in silence." - the Desiderata

"Travels in a Beautiful World" is a project endorsed by H. H. the Dalai Lama and the UNHCR to convey the opinions, hopes and aspirations of young people in areas of the world that have recently experienced conflict. As such the project has visisted Rwanda, Kosovo, and Jordan. This website serves to further that aim, and amongst its pages you will find summaries of each of the visits and some of the interviews.
